Sober State, LLC., was formed in 2023 by Hilario Vazquez, a dedicated master social worker. Hilario holds two associate degrees in social and behavioral science and Addiction Studies from Los Angeles Pierce College, and both a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from California State University Northridge (CSUN). In addition to his strong educational foundation, Hilario Vazquez also holds a Pupil Personnel Service Credential (PPSC) in school social work and child welfare attendance. Furthermore, he is a CA-State certified addiction treatment specialist with over a decade of comprehensive expertise and specialized knowledge. His forte lies in crafting programs that address crucial needs like substance abuse and mental health through school-based and community services. Hilario Vazquez holds a proven track record of excellence across various public and private settings with a special emphasis on working with adolescents and addressing the unique challenges of special populations such as those with disabilities and those that are justice involved. Hilario has made significant contributions in the field, particularly through his work and internships within the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH), the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC), Vanity Wellness Center, and now as CEO of Sober State, LLC.
